Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina (or Antonia) Shevchenko fights as a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thai fighter in the UFC's flyweight division. She is older than her fellow UFC Fighter and the former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko's professional career in combat sport started with her debut as a Muay Thai athlete. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title after which she defeated Suzane Mller in a unanimous decision. Antonina was awarded an award of Silver in 2007, a bronze Medal in 2008, and a Gold Medal in 2011 and in the IFMA 2016 Amateure Muay Tha World Champion. Antonia has started her career as a professional at the age of three, was awarded in 2012 and the 2016 International Lion Fight Lightweight championships. The WMC World Championships also staged in 2016, and she was crowned the 2016 IFMA Muay Thai World Champion. Antonina's last fight was against Isa Tidblad-Keskikangas in the Phoenix Fighting Championship. The fight was won by a unanimous vote. Antonina Schevchenko started the professional phase of her MMA professional career back in the year 2002 with a win over Anara Baanova at the KFK Championships of Kyrgystan. She won this fight via TKO after round 2. Her subsequent 2 matches were held during the WXF X-Impact World Championships. Shevchenko committed herself to kickboxing as she took a prolonged break of MMA. She came back in 2017 when she faced Anissa Hasdaoui. Shevchenko beat Anissa by unanimous decision after which she beat Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She quit the club in 2018 to join Dana White's Contender Series in 2018. Shevchenko knocked out Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina displayed her power of striking by tying Nievera by knees. Antonina accepted an UFC invitation following her win. Antonina received a UFC contract after her win. Shevchenko defeated Roxanne Modeafferi in a unanimous decision. She then fell in her second bout due to a split verdict. Antonina was able to bounce back from her loss and fought Lucie Prudilova's fight in UFC on ESPN Covingtonvs. Lawler by submitting a rear naked choke submission. This was by far the most exciting fight of night for the fight. Shevchenko had a 1-2 record during her subsequent three matches, winning against Ariane Lipski while being defeated by Katlyn Clarkagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina lost to Casey O'Neill by second-round TKO in the second round of UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
